We urgently need to raise funds to keep So Fun flipping!

At the end of 2022 a group of parents formed Woolgoolga Gymnastics Inc to take over the running of So Fun Gymnastics as a not-for-profit community club, as the previous sole trader owner needed to retire after an incredible 14 years running this amazing club.

After a year of operating, we’ve achieved so much and learned a lot. All our admin and coordination continues to be done by volunteers. In 2024 we need to set the club up for success with a paid business coordinator and more investment in coach training and development.

$130,000 covers our start up costs and allows us to set the club up for sustainable success.

We welcome 190 to 300 students to our classes each week. It would be a huge loss to the community if this club was to close.

There’s plenty of ways to help - take a look and see what you might be able to contribute to keep this community club flipping!

Make a tax-deductible donation

Any amount large or small helps us achieve our goal. Share the donations link with all your family and friends!

Some in-kind things we need include cleaning, signage, printing of program resources, advising accountant/treasurer, grants coordinator, BBQ fundraiser items (sausages, bread, sauces, drinks)

More enrolments

Could you set up a partnership with a school to get children from their venue to ours as an alternative to after school care?

Do you coordinate a home school, aged care, disability or other group that would love a gymastics-based program?

Do you have another idea? Get in touch to discuss what’s possible!

Work with us

Would you love to train as a coach (no gymnastics experience necessary), to be a paid regular or relief casual with us? We can run whatever programs our coaches are trained for and passionate about - maybe traditional gymnastics isn’t your style, but take a look at all the other cool programs you could run!

Another option is to run your own type of program (e.g. silks, hoops, movement therapy, playgroup - the possibilities are endless!) as an employee with us. Get in touch now!

Join Piiink

It sounds too good to be true - but it really is a win for clubs like ours, a win for local businesses, a win for charities and a win for you. It works kind of like the Entertainment Book, but better.

Download the Piiink app and sign up using our unique QR code so we’re the club that benefits.

Find grants, rebates, subsidies

Suggest something we might be eligible for. We’re a not-for-profit (not a registered charity) with an incorporated association structure. We’re in a regional area and our cohort includes women & girls, men & boys, children 0 to 18, youth 18 to 25, people with disability, people with language backgrounds other than English. Make sure you send us the link!

Volunteer

We’ve only been able to achieve what we have with the tireless work of a small group of volunteers. Coaches have also gone above and beyond putting in volunteer hours to keep the club awesome.

Do you have an hour or two a week to take ownership of an admin task? Or maybe some school holiday time to help with the rush of enrolments and admin? Are you interested on serving on the Committee? Whatever your skills and time availability, there’ll be an essential task you can help with.

Over 190 children and families thank you!
